Make new friends, serve your community, and learn new skills with Exchange!

The Butte Exchange Club offers you the opportunity to make new friends and serve our community.

Whether you only want to meet weekly to hear the interesting speakers, or just want to pick up highway trash once a year or get more involved in the club leadership, you can participate at the level you wish. A variety of social activities are planned each year to help our members get to know each other and just have fun. Some of our annual social events are: Fall Social Party, Steak Fry, bus trip to Philipsburg show, Kippen Cup Golf Tour, and the Fun Raiser.

Who Can Become a Member?

Members must be American citizens. The ability to make Noon meetings, and have occasional evenings or weekends available for service projects, and pay the dues are obviously important as well.

Member applications are voted on by the Board of Directors and each application must be sponsored by a current memeber.

Where and When We Meet

We meet at the Resodyn Headquarters Building (former Hennessey Building) at 16 E. Granite Street (second floor conference room) in Uptown Butte for lunch at Noon on Tuesday. Meetings usually last an hour or less, including lunch and a speaker. This works well for busy people as the meetings are done by 1:00 p.m.

Cost of Membership

The initial membership fee is $25.00. Monthly dues are $45.00 per month. Dues are paid monthly, quarterly, semi-monthly, or annually. Be sure to check with your employer, as some employers will pay these dues.

Monthly dues cover the cost of lunches and administrative costs. Monies generated from special fund raising events are used only for community service projects or as donations to local non-profit organizations.

How to Join

The first step in joining the Butte Exchange Club is to contact a member of the club, or submit the Member Inquiry below. Contact information can be found on the Contact Us page. Next you want to arrange to come to a couple of lunch meetings with club members to see if the club and lunch are something you really want to do. Review the About Us page. After that, ask for a membership application. Return the application to the member sponsor or to the address printed on the application. The Board of Directors will then review your application. If approved you can then pay the dues and membership fee and join the best service organization in Butte!
