Field of Honor donates $50,000
2014 Field of Honor provided our community the opportunity to pay tribute to our heroes from July 3rd to July 6th. Some volunteered their time and others honored their loved ones by sponsoring flags. Over 120 local businesses contributed by underwriting the cost of the event. This year a record number of nine hundred of the 1000 flags were sponsored. As a result of this support, $50,000 was raised for local non-profit organizations. Donations were presented to nine non-profits on September 23 at a special luncheon at the Butte Country Club.
